Hey you, how goes it? This is Jamie, and you're listening to the To Do San Francisco Podcast for Monday, January 5, 2026. Welcome in, San Francisco. Hope this Monday's meetings are short, your focus is strong, and the week starts on a genuinely fulfilling note. Today's act of kindness? Leave a generous tip or a kind note for that service person with whom you share familiarity because of frequent interactions. For a kind note example, write something like "Thanks for being awesome today." It will make them feel good and seen. In 2026, why not try to go to more live music performances? One option that usually only costs a RSVP on the website is a student recital or performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. They have performances at their 50 Oak Street main building and at their 200 Van Ness Avenue newer building that provides housing for their students along with students of the San Francisco Ballet. See the upcoming performances at the Conservatory's website www.sfcm.edu/experience/performance-calendar. I'll put a link in the show notes so that you don't have to rewind and listen to that again. Also, donations help enable the Conservatory of Music to continue providing advanced classical music, opera, musical theater, and jazz studies to their students and offering their culturally enriching performances to San Francisco. Take a breath, take your tea, take your time, start with a smile. Have a fabulous day.
