Happy Tuesday. This is Jamie, and you're listening to the To Do San Francisco podcast for February 10th, 2026. The song in my mind today is Michael Buble singing Everything. I've got a link to the music video on YouTube in the show notes. Now, let's get real for a second. Tuesday is the engine room of the week. Monday is all about survival and caffeine induced panic, but Tuesday? Tuesday is where you actually get stuff done. If you're feeling that midweek weight already, take a deep breath. You've got the skills, you've got the grit, and honestly, you look fantastic in that jacket you picked out today. You've survived every Tuesday before this one. You're basically a pro at this point. Now if the city noise is getting to be a bit much, it's time to escape to the Presidio. This isn't just a park. It's fifteen hundred acres of chill. We're actually heading into a big year for the Presidio. It celebrates its 250th anniversary this year, marking its founding back in 1776. It's seen the flags of Spain, Mexico, and the United States Army fly over these hills before it became the national treasure it is today. Here are some things to do at the Presidio. The Yoda fountain, for Star Wars fans. Head over to the Letterman Digital Arts Center. There is a life-sized bronze Yoda guarding the entrance. It's a peaceful spot, perfect for a quick photo. Don't try to use the Force to find a parking spot nearby though. The Presidio Rangers are immune to Jedi Mind tricks. Next up, the Walt Disney Family Museum. Just a heads up, they're closed on Tuesdays. But you can put this in your later in the week list if you happen to be considering a visit. Their current exhibition, Happiest Place on Earth, The Disneyland Story is running right now. It's a deep dive into how a swamp in Anaheim became a global icon. How about some bowling? The Presidio Bowl. If you need to blow off some steam after work, the lanes at Presidio Bowl open at three PM. It's twelve lanes of retro fun with a view of the bay that'll make you forget you ever had an inbox. Picnic at tunnel tops. If the sun breaks through, grab a sandwich from one of the Presidio pop up food trucks and hit the outpost meadow. It's fourteen acres of park built right over the highway tunnels. You get the Golden Gate Bridge in the background and zero traffic noise. It's basically magic. Before I let you go, here's your civility tip for the day. Sidewalk etiquette. We live in a beautiful city, and I know that view of the Trans America Pyramid is tempting, but please don't stop dead in the middle of the sidewalk to take a photo or check your Google map. It's the pedestrian equivalent of slamming on your brakes on the one oh one freeway. Step to the side, lean against a building, and then do your thing. That's it for today's episode. Get out there, enjoy the Presidio, and remember, you're doing better than you think you are. Take care, San Francisco.
